The Sauce

The Sauce

Originally, The Sauce started as a side project, but it quickly took off. We’re a group of creative individuals brought together by a few corporate types, all of whom share a passion for food, drink, travel, and the vibrant city of London. However, we found it difficult to discover a magazine that truly resonated with our interests. While there are plenty of decent options available, we aimed to create something with real authenticity—a magazine infused with humor that understands its topics without being overly specialized. Our goal is to produce a publication that connects with you, our readers, as if we genuinely know you, and to share exciting content that we think you’ll love.

Battersea Power Station has had one heck of a glow-up of late. The London landmark is now a foodie’s paradise, whether you’re after a laidback brunch, a seafood feast, or dinner with a view of those iconic chimneys.

Just in time for the weekend, the cloudless blue skies and almost not-coat-weather heat are due to be replaced by the more usual grey-wash and a chill in the air. Typical. Never mind. There’s still plenty to be doing in London town and here are some ideas of things to do this weekend, starting on Friday with Pisco Hour at Coya and ending on Sunday with bottomless pizza at Doughnation.

Looking to shake up your dinner plans? You’ll want to check out the brand new eight-course tasting menu at Smith’s Bar & Grill – the perfect mix of great food and great atmosphere. Plus, relative to the majority of London tasting menus, it’s wildly affordable. Available every Friday and Saturday evening, the eight-course tasting journey takes you through luxury ingredients, expertly crafted dishes, and perfectly paired wines (if you so choose).

Somehow, we’ve made it to April – an impressive feat, considering January lasted approximately six years. The clocks have gone forward, the sun is making an appearance, and suddenly, London is full of things to do that don’t involve three layers of thermals. It’s officially time to crawl out of hibernation and embrace the longer evenings.
