Carly has an incredible knack for sourcing gorgeous, well-priced items for the home. After ten editions of Amazon Home Finds, we’ve decided to shift to share some vintage and small business finds. I continue to be blown away by her discoveries. If you missed it, you can read volumes one, two, and three right this way! This month’s post is a treasure trove! I don’t know what I want more: this bejeweled gemstone bowl? This rattan table lamp? A fish statue for my bookshelves? Wow. I love it all.

This edit makes me happy because it is so fun and tropical. We do a wedding guest/special event edit every few months, which is always a big reader request. I am at the age of having very few weddings (there are far more divorce parties than weddings for me, these days!) to attend, but Charleston’s events scene means lots of garden parties and fancy fundraisers, so I still have lots of reason to get dressed up. What to wear to a wedding: summer 2025I love wearing bold colors to a wedding or party.

Leave it to me to write this post just as we have a big tomato recall — let’s hope that’s sorted soon! Is anyone else counting down the days until tomato season? It is pretty much upon us. Here in Charleston, I dream about the tomato tart at FIG (one of my favorite restaurants). They just put it back on the menu, which means I will be posting up at the bar for that, the gnudi, and an icy glass of Sancerre ASAP.

I always say this, but great style does not have to cost a million dollars! Nothing thrills me more than finding something really cute at a great price point. As we move away from featuring Amazon fashion, I’ve had a lot of luck sourcing stylish pieces from Cos, Gap, Quince, and more. I update this ShopMy shelf every week with new under $200 finds, but I also like to do a round-up here every couple of weeks.

Men can be so incredibly hard to shop for! Today, I’m rounding up what I think are the best gifts for guys—things I’ve bought my boyfriend and dad that have hit the mark. The best thing I’ve ever given my boyfriend was probably the Theragun mini. I got it for him early into dating, and he still pulls it out all the time. Sometimes it goes missing as his kids will steal it. The compact shape is perfect for travel (it’s TSA-approved) and a godsend for sore muscles.
