To close out the week, here’s a happy, colorful edit of some great pieces that will not break the bank. It’s all the things I love most: dresses (a mix of tailored and breezy), beaded necklaces, comfortable slides, cozy tees, and cardigans. If I had to pick a favorite from this round-up, it would be this vibrant red mini dress from Banana Republic. The color and shape spark joy for me. I love chunky beaded necklaces, and this and this are both gorgeous without blowing your budget.

RMS is a brand I love–for makeup. They make so many of my favorite products, and I am a Rosemary fan girl (I have learned so much about makeup application from her Instagram videos). They’ve dabbled in skincare before, and I’ve dutifully bought and tried the products, but their skincare hadn’t really wowed me until I tried these cleansers. “Stay in your lane,” I thought! And then I tried these cleansers. Read on for my review. The TLDR is that I really love them both.

This was a really great month of reading. I read seven books in total and gave two of them an A+. In my opinion, Wild, Dark, Shore, and The Lion Women of Tehran are both no-miss A+ reads and will definitely be contenders for my best books of the year. I also read some solid thrillers. All The Other Mothers Hate Me had me on the edge of my seat as a young mom tried to solve a murder case, but it was also very funny! I’ve read very few funny thrillers, so that was a fun treat.

They are happy and fun, and put a little pep in my step, especially this time of year, when I become a complete and utter color monster. My favorite way to wear stripes right now is to mix and match a little bit. In the outfit above, I paired a striped tee with a sweater of a different stripe over my shoulders. You could also tie the sweater around your waist.

I love an affordable beauty buy, but it has to perform. I have personally tried and tested (and, in many cases, repurchased many times!) everything on this list and can personally tell you that these things work. And for the most part, they are all under $20! The exception to the $20 rule is the bag of magnesium bath flakes, which clocks in at $29 . . . but that’s warranted: the bag is huge and will last you for months.
