A new food option debuted in downtown Dexter on May 13, bringing with it a unique culinary experience. Already known around the Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor areas, the Fonda Reyes Truck set up shop that day in the parking lot of the Marathon Gas Station in Dexter, at Main and Jeffords streets, and started dishing out some delicious meals. Their mission is to bring a taste of Mexico to every bite.

The Chelsea School District Board of Education has a vacancy and is looking to fill it with a qualified person. On May 13, the school district announced a “Notice of Board Vacancy.”“The Chelsea School District Board of Education is seeking candidates for a board position following the resignation of Board President, Kate Henson,” the CSD announcement said. Henson is leaving the school board because she has been appointed to the open Chelsea City Council position.
