The Wesleyan Argus

The Wesleyan Argus

The Wesleyan Argus is a student-run newspaper at Wesleyan University. Established in 1868, it holds the title of the oldest college newspaper in the United States that is printed twice a week. The name "Argus" is inspired by a giant from Greek mythology known for having a hundred eyes and seeing everything. Many former writers and staff from the Argus have moved on to successful careers in prestigious media outlets, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Vanity Fair, and ABC News.
