In the year 2000, the term 'broadband' was unfamiliar to many, with only a few tech enthusiasts embracing the 'always on' Internet revolution. We were excited about the prospect of surfing the web without the hassle of a dial-up modem. As soon as broadband trials kicked off, we eagerly became some of the first customers to sign up for services that initially cost around £50 per month, typically only connected one computer at a time, and came with a significant setup fee of £150!

Vodafone release financial results and a new roadmap for the businessVodafone has released its most recent financial results for FY23, which show a total revenue increase of 0.3% to €45.7 billion. The main highlight from the result is that they are announcing job cuts of 11,000 personnel across Vodafone Group PLC over three years. This includes at their head office (in the UK) and across their local markets too and accounts for around 12% of their global workforce of 90,000.
