Tom + Lorenzo (TLO)
Tom Fitzgerald and Lorenzo Marquez have been partners for many years and have been married for about half that time. In 2006, they combined their experiences in film, music, fashion, and advertising to create a gay-themed reality TV blog called “Project RunGay.” This project gained them significant recognition, but instead of letting it go to their heads, they focused on building a sustainable media and publishing strategy. Fast forward fourteen years, and their website, Tom & Lorenzo, now attracts millions of readers, has a podcast with tens of thousands of weekly listeners, two published books, and a strong social media following. This success has helped them transition from fan bloggers to respected fashion and cultural critics. They are also proud members of GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics, and serve as Tomatometer-approved critics for Rotten Tomatoes.

WINNER WINNER, CHICKEN DINNERRuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars debuted its tenth season with a whole truckload of twists and a shit-ton of competing queens, but we were deeply relieved to find out that we’d only be dealing with six queens at a time. Poker Face’s second season premiered this week, and star Natasha Lyonne came to Late Night to chat about it while wearing a cheaper, but less tacky version of the worst dress at the Met Gala. In some ways, it’s a better dress than Halle’s. The thinner stripes are more flattering, and of course the design works much better when the wearer’s got her panties on. Don’t get us wrong, it’s not a fabulous dress at all.

Charlize Theron stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to chat about this and that, and also to model the worst celebrity style trend of the year. Sheer skirts have been a beloved celebrity trend for years now, but this year, it became all about wearing these flimsy-ass things under heavy jackets, and the effect is so weirdly unbalanced. It looks so annoying to wear, having a nicely fitted, structure jacket on top and then little more than a breeze between your legs on the bottom.

These sidewalk shots are kind of shitty (they were all our photo agency had on offer), but the looks at the New York City Ballet Spring Gala were definitely worth discussing – some of them, anyway; specifically, these three. Ariana DeBose in Bibhu MohapatraIt’s interesting and kind of pretty from the front, but thaose luggage straps really let the whole design down. We like the shape of it. And the purple shoes area fun choice.
