4 This DIY Dr Seuss photo booth is the perfect addition for Cat in the Hat week, Dr. Seuss parties, World Book Day, and so much more. We celebrated Cat in the Hat week with a family literacy night for current and future students in our community. Each teacher was asked to contribute an activity for the event. A couple of us took a couch and bean bags along with baskets of books to make a reading corner, and I decided to add a fun photo booth too which the kids and families loved.

5 Whether you are studying insects or you have a bee themed classroom, we have fun ideas for decorating your classroom door and library. Spring is in the air and we have just started our insect unit in the classroom. This means switching our decor out to reflect what we will be learning about. Last year though, I created these fun bee themed door and library spaces because our classroom was bee themed for the whole year; I switched them out to reflect the season instead of the study unit.

5 Cozy up on the couch with these winter yarn crafts. These are the perfect movie marathon winter crafts for adults and teens. Wrap those ugly black plastic pots in a warm knit cozy. I keep these on year-round because they are so fun and different. Follow my super simple instructions to knit your own potted plant knit cozy. Grab those plain beanies out of your closet, or pick some up from your local discount or thrift store. Customize it with a pom pom and embroidery.
