If you are starting your spring cleaning, hang onto those things that you love and can repurpose. You might not love it or wear it how it is now, but you can turn it into something that you will wear. We’ve previously shown you how to patch jeans with repurposed items, make a bird bath using repurposed items, and you won’t believe what we used to make a flower frog. Below, we are showing you how to repurpose old jewelry and turn them into pretty hair clips that you will want to wear.

4 This DIY Dr Seuss photo booth is the perfect addition for Cat in the Hat week, Dr. Seuss parties, World Book Day, and so much more. We celebrated Cat in the Hat week with a family literacy night for current and future students in our community. Each teacher was asked to contribute an activity for the event. A couple of us took a couch and bean bags along with baskets of books to make a reading corner, and I decided to add a fun photo booth too which the kids and families loved.

Your kids will love our beginner watercolor art like our truffula tree watercolor art and our sun and moon watercolor project. We have helpful tips for watercoloring with kids, but if your kids are having trouble getting started with a watercolor art, try our guided project below. Our watercolor painting projects for kids use guided rather than instructional ideas for process watercolor art that kids will love creating.

We’ve got some fun ways to upcycle things you probably have in your home. Turn those old ceramic bowls into a bird bath for your garden, turn old jars into flower frog vases for flower arranging, and use fabric scraps to make our pretty DIY rag rug. You can also use torn items in your home for patching distressed jeans. We’ll show you how below.

5 Whether you are studying insects or you have a bee themed classroom, we have fun ideas for decorating your classroom door and library. Spring is in the air and we have just started our insect unit in the classroom. This means switching our decor out to reflect what we will be learning about. Last year though, I created these fun bee themed door and library spaces because our classroom was bee themed for the whole year; I switched them out to reflect the season instead of the study unit.
