VIN News Service

Established in 2008, the VIN News Service is the news division of the Veterinary Information Network, which stands as the largest online resource for veterinary medicine. Since its inception in 1991, VIN has fostered a community for veterinarians to connect, share medical cases, and exchange insights about their profession and business practices. Created by veterinarians for veterinarians, the VIN News Service operates without advertising, relying solely on membership fees from VIN members for support. The mission of the VIN News Service is to amplify the voices of veterinarians and others committed to animal health and medicine. We strive to enhance both the veterinary field and society by delivering unbiased, precise, and insightful news and analysis on topics and perspectives often overlooked by mainstream media. Our goal is to be a vital resource for reliable information that is relevant to the veterinary profession.

But Sharp wasn't there to lament their lot. Instead, he read a statement he'd prepared in advance, not wanting to wing such an important moment.
