WABC, known as "Talkradio 77 WABC" and operating on 770 kHz, is a commercial AM radio station based in New York City. It is owned by Red Apple Media, which is headed by John Catsimatidis. The station features a conservative talk radio format and has its studios located at the Red Apple Media headquarters on Third Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. Its transmitter is situated in Lodi, New Jersey. With a powerful 50,000-watt non-directional clear channel signal, WABC can be heard at night across a large portion of the Eastern United States and Eastern Canada. Additionally, it serves as the main entry point for the Emergency Alert System in the New York metro area. WABC also broadcasts on 107.1 WLIR-FM in Hampton Bays, New York, located on eastern Long Island.
