Wax Poetics
Wax Poetics is a quarterly magazine from the United States that focuses on both classic and modern music genres such as jazz, funk, soul, Latin, hip-hop, reggae, blues, and R&B, all rooted in the crate-digger culture. Its name references the world of vinyl records. Launched in December 2001, Wax Poetics has grown over the years to include not just a magazine, but also a clothing line, a record label, and a publishing division for books. In November 2008, the company introduced Wax Poetics Japan, expanding its reach into the Japanese market.
