After 19 years, Pitchfork Music Festival has earned a reputation for supporting locally-based talent. | Morgan Ciocca/Vocalo RadioOrganizers of the fest announced on Instagram Monday it will not return to Chicago in 2025, though Pitchfork will continue to produce events elsewhere under owner Condé Nast. Since its first iteration in 2006, the event has become a beacon for local representation in the city’s summer festival circuit.
