    Extending a program Metro leaders contend has improved public safety and helped increase ridership on its transit system, the Metro Board of Directors agreed Thursday to make its ambassador pilot program permanent. The Board of Directors voted unanimously to permanently establish the Transit Ambassador Program and transition the program in-house over the course of 12 months.

    Anawalt Lumber in West Hollywood is closing “in ten months or less” said one employee at the WeHo location. The property has been sold.   The land spans from Robertson to La Peer and is adjacent to the Roberson Lane Project under development by Fariing Capital. Anawalt opened its West Hollywood location in 1948. The original Anawalt Lumber was founded  in 1923 by Harland Fred Anawalt Jr.   The first location was in West LA at the corner of Sepulveda Blvd @ Pico.

Frankly, many of the issues I have seen with this project are just bad business decisions (parking, unit size & mix, etc.). The remaining are poor design decisions, many of which contradict city Climate Action Plan, design standards, and common sense.
