OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – For the first time since 2019, someone other than Oklahoma will be crowned softball national champions after Texas Tech capped an unbeaten run to the championship finals with a 3-2 walk-off win on Monday night. The Sooners trailed 2-0 late, but Abigale Dayton hit a two-out two-run homer to extend the game. Texas Tech answered back in the bottom half, however. A sac fly sent the Red Raiders to the best-of-three finals.
