A motorcyclist is dead after a crash near Palm Beach International Airport on Sunday. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says the driver of a car violated the motorcycle rider's right of way and made a left turn along Belvedere Road and into the path of the bike. The 39-year old rider was thrown off when the front of the motorcycle struck the car's right rear fender. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. No word on charges for the driver of the car at this time.

Largo, FL - Three people, including two children and a 78-year-old woman, have died following a tragic two-vehicle collision that also left a University of Miami football player injured. According to authorities, the acciden occurred Saturday evening near the intersection of Ridge Road and Orangeview Drive. Local police say a Kia Soul driven by Gail Price, 78, collided with a Dodge Durango reportedly operated by 20-year-old Adarius Hayes, a linebacker for the Miami Hurricanes.

FLORIDA - Florida is battling one of its worst droughts in over 20 years, with vast areas of the Everglades showing alarming signs of drying out. According to local meteorologists and state data, recently posted striking images of dried marshes and depleted water sources in Southwest Florida. Matt Devitt, chief meteorologist for WINK News, noted that the region is 6 to 10 inches drier than average since mid-October, calling this the most severe local drought in nearly a quarter-century.
