WMZQ-FM is a radio station broadcasting at 98.7 FM in Washington, D.C. Since 1977, it has focused on country music. Prior to this, it operated under the name WMOD, playing oldies. The station first went on air in 1946 as WOL-FM, sharing its programming with its sister R&B station, WOL. Over the years, ownership has changed hands from Sonderling to Viacom, then AM/FM, and is currently owned by iHeartMedia, Inc., which was previously known as Clear Channel Media + Entertainment.

    Amy wants to know if the email she recently got was real... or a scam. She had shared last week that a podcast had reached out to her and was willing to pay her a couple hundred dollars to make a guest appearance. The Bobby Bones Show knew automatically that the email was a scam because podcasts don't pay for appearances. But this week, she got another request to be on the All Things Teen Mom podcast, except this time there was no payment and it seemed legit.
