A daughter of the late Ray and Claudine Jamison Bell, she was born July 19, 1972 in Anderson, South Carolina, having lived all her life in Stephens County. She was employed with Stephens County Hospital for over 35 years and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She loved watching movies and was a big Johnny Depp fan.

Travis was born in Carnesville, Georgia and spent most of his life in Toccoa, Georgia where he met the love of his life, Ella Grace Fuller Saylors. They were married 41 years before her passing in 2018. He had been employed by Stephens County Road Department where he retired in 2016 after 19 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with family.

At approximately 5:22 p.m. yesterday, May 9, 2025, Toccoa Police Department were dispatched to a 911 call regarding two vehicles involved in a road rage incident beginning on Highway 17 Alternate toward Toccoa. While initial TPD units were responding, several calls were placed to Stephens County 911 regarding two cars blocking lanes of traffic on Highway 17 across from Farm Bureau, multiple white males, and a gunshot.
