WRIU-FM (Kingston, RI)

WRIU (90.3 FM) is a non-profit radio station that features a college radio format. Based in Kingston, Rhode Island, it caters to the broader Rhode Island region. The station is operated by the University of Rhode Island and has a broadcast range that extends throughout most of Rhode Island, as well as parts of Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Long Island. WRIU started its transmission on February 16, 1964, originally broadcasting at 91.1 MHz (Channel 216) with a power output of 10 watts.
