WTAM (1100 AM), known as Newsradio WTAM 1100, is a commercial news and talk radio station based in Cleveland, Ohio. It serves the Greater Cleveland area and much of the nearby Northeast Ohio region. Owned by iHeartMedia, Inc., WTAM is a clear-channel station, which allows it to broadcast over a wide area, especially at night. As the Cleveland affiliate for both ABC News Radio and Fox News Radio, WTAM also shares the role of secondary affiliate for Fox Sports Radio with its sister station, WARF. The station features popular programs such as The Glenn Beck Program, The Rush Limbaugh Show, and Coast to Coast AM. Additionally, it serves as the AM flagship station for the radio networks of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Indians, and is home to well-known radio personalities like Geraldo Rivera and Mike Trivisonno.

Possible Shark Attack Injures Man In North Carolina: Authorities are investigating a possible shark attack off the coast of North Carolina. The Sunset Beach Fire Department says it received an emergency call yesterday morning about a swimmer who was bitten on the leg. Sean Barton from New Mexico was treated by rescue personnel and taken to a local hospital and given 11 stitches for the injury. Barton’s family reported they saw a shark swimming close by after the bite happened.
