Flyers in Real Estate (F.I.R.E.) is a student organization at the University of Dayton's School of Business Administration. Founded in 2024, F.I.R.E. connects students with the knowledge, tools, and industry professionals needed to succeed in the real estate field. Through workshops, speaker events, site visits, and mentorship, the organization offers students hands-on learning experiences and valuable networking opportunities to help them thrive in real estate careers.

By Sheryl Stillman I recently attended the Erma Bombeck Writers’ Workshop in Dayton, Ohio, along with hundreds of writers and esteemed speakers, including Anna Quindlen, Wade Rouse (aka Viola Shipman), and Jacquelyn Mitchard. Authors of all genres came together to soak up Erma’s wisdom (posthumously, or rather post humorously) and find inspiration and solidarity in a medium often spent alone.
