A tragic incident occurred at PNC Park on Wednesday night during the Pittsburgh Pirates' game against the Chicago Cubs. In the seventh inning, an adult male fan fell approximately 21 feet from the right-field bleachers, known as the Clemente Wall, onto the warning track. The fall happened shortly after Pirates player Andrew McCutchen hit a two-run double that gave the team a 4–3 lead.
