Owen Boswell made the start on the mound for the Hoppers and pitched 5.1 innings. He allowed two runs, but only allowed two hits on his way to getting three strikeouts. He was a key in Hoptown being able to get a 9-2 win.

Burnison is a Nelson County native who swam at the state meet for the Cardinals before his college career at Campbellsville University.
