CARBONDALE — A local resource for people experiencing homelessness will pause operations in less than a month. The Carbondale Warming Center has announced a change in leadership and a temporary closure starting Saturday, May 17, to allow for much-needed deep cleaning and reorganization of its facilities. However, the temporary closure isn't only due to operational needs. The center is also pausing services to find new sources of funding.
