OHIO — Damage has been reported following the latest round of severe weather to move across Ohio late Wednesday night into early Thursday. In northwest Ohio, extensive damage was reported to several homes in the Putnam County community of Dupont, according to reports from the National Weather Service. Putnam County Emergency Management said three people were taken to the hospital after the mobile home they were in rolled several times as severe weather moved through.

Bruce Reginald Foster III is charged with aggravated murder, according to documents filed at the Licking County Common Pleas Court. Prosecutors accused Foster of opening fire at the KDC/One facility on Smith’s Mill Road in New Albany, a Columbus suburb, at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. Foster was taken into custody Wednesday morning when authorities executed a search warrant at a Columbus address and took him into custody.

AKRON, Ohio — One person is dead and 25 were injured following a shooting in an Akron neighborhood overnight, officials said. Akron Police said the shooting happened during what they describe as a “large house party” near Kelly and 8th avenues. Neighbors said the shooting happened at about midnight. Akron Police said one victim is in critical condition at an area hospital. The other injuries are described as non-life threatening.

EUCLID, Ohio — A Euclid police officer is dead and the search for the suspect is underway. Just before 10 p.m. Saturday, Euclid Police were dispatched to a home in the 300 block of East 211th Street for a report of disturbance. Investigators said that while police were investigating, a gunman opened fire striking an officer. The officer was taken to an area hospital but died from his injuries. The officer’s name has not been released.
