Team USA’s Natalia Grossman is currently out recovering from knee surgery. Janja Garnbret recently announced that she’s only attending three events this year: the Lead and Boulder World Cups in Innsbruck, the Lead World Cup in Koper, and the World Championships in Seoul.

The route is his first of the grade. Le bruit de l’acid is an endurance test. After an 5.13a intro, a poor rest follows before launching into two stacked boulder problems. The first clocks in at around V13, the second around V10, with no rest in between.

It’s the 18-year-old Japanese climber’s first time standing atop a Boulder World Cup podium since Salt Lake City in May last year. At yesterday’s men’s Boulder final in Keqiao, China, Anraku topped all four problems with relative ease, earning himself the victory.

The 17-year-old American came out on top today at the first women’s Boulder World Cup of the 2025 in Keqiao, China. She was joined on the podium by Oriane Bertone of France in second and Great Britain’s Erin McNeice in third.
