I support a new soccer stadium at Balloon Fiesta Park, but it has to be done the right way - with the engagement of neighboring communities, the Balloon Fiesta Park Commission, and the soccer team paying for the stadium, unlike the bond proposal a few years ago. New Mexico United has been an enormous benefit to our city and state. The games are popular for entire families and people travel into Albuquerque from all parts of the state to watch a game, buy gear, dine, and shop in our city.
