I often come across videos of identical twins, or even just regular twins, that show this kind of strange mental connection. Like, if one twin gets hurt, the other feels it.

I mean, isn’t it odd to say sorry to someone you don’t know and will probably never meet again? Why do we even say thank you and sorry to strangers? Is it because, deep down, we think we might run into them again in some bizarre way, and it’s in our best interest to be nice? My parents, teachers, and everyone around me taught me that being a good person means saying thank you and sorry.
