The Palm Beach vibe can be distilled into two words: Lilly Pulitzer. For 66 years, the brand’s iconic prints and pastel colors have set the tone for the island’s barefoot sophistication. Though Mira Fain is an expert at honing this beachy motif as executive vice president of design and development for Lilly Pulitzer, she hails from a notably chillier part of the world: Finland. When not soaking up the Palm Beaches’ sun, Fain travels to Helsinki, the country’s capital, three to four times per year.

Panther Coffee is a movement that’s been prowling the city’s coffee landscape since 2010. Spotting potential in what was then a specialty-coffee-starved metropolis, husband-and-wife team Joel and Leticia Pollock established their first store in Wynwood. Now a staple across the 305, Panther was born from the Pollocks’ lifelong love for coffee and a mutual dedication to sourcing top-tier beans from producing partners worldwide.

What she does is who she is. Judith Liegeois does not remember a time when she wasn’t collecting and creating. From her childhood spent on the beach near her home in New Zealand, the island country in the South Pacific, to design school to establishing herself in Naples in 1977 to present day, Liegeois has been composing scenes. She doesn’t know what she would do if she wasn’t. Thirty years ago, she opened her own interior design firm, Judith Liegeois Designs, after working with local designers.

Full disclosure here: I’ve long harbored a lustful, heart-palpitating, Bogart and Bacall love affair with Bentley’s Continental GT coupe. From the day it glided on to the automotive landscape way back in 2003, I’ve continued to swoon over that achingly gorgeous profile, its towering W12 12-cylinder power, and interior brimming with artisan-stitched, diamond-quilted leather. It’s a sickness, I know. I’m getting counseling.
