The "largest fentanyl bust to date" for the Grand Rapids Police Department (GRPD) Vice Unit has a known drug trafficker off the streets and more than one pound of the highly-lethal drug, according to detectives. The Monday, March 3, arrest likely saved the lives of hundreds, if not thousands, of West Michigan residents, according to a statement from Deputy Chief Michael Maycroft. “500 grams of fentanyl is a substantial amount, and the potential harm it could have caused is immense,” Maycroft said.

Northern Ireland's bus network is such "a disaster" it is preventing people from leaving their car at home and reducing traffic in Belfast city centre. Trains have now been running from Belfast’s new £340m Grand Central Station for a full working week after the first services pulled away from the platform on 13 October. The railway line between Lisburn and Belfast had been closed for more than three months to connect train services to the new station.
