There will be a new entrant in the P4P rankings next week, and that name is 27-year-old unified (IBF & WBA) & Ring Magazine welterweight champion Jaron “Boots” Ennis. Ennis (34-0, 30 KOs) scored a sixth-round TKO over Eimantas Stanionis (15-1, 9 KOs) on DAZN as Stanionis’ corner called for the fight to be stopped after the sixth round. It appeared Stanionis, who suffered a knockdown in the sixth, did not want to continue after the advisement of his trainer.

No scale fails in Atlantic City on Friday afternoon as Jaron “Boots” Ennis (33-0, 29 KOs) and Eimantas Stanionis (15-0, 9 KOs) both came under the welterweight limit of 147 pounds ahead of their big unification fight on Saturday night. Both men were in incredible shape when they conducted the ceremonial weigh-in in front of fans and the media in attendance.
