Malta, an island nation in the Mediterranean, south of Sicily, will use TM Roads to enhance the coordination of road works. The solution is a customised version of TRL’s off-the-shelf, cloud-based asset management software, iRoads, and will be used as part of Malta’s broader 'Reshaping Our Mobility' strategy.

    A new light rail system is being trialled in the centre of Coventry, a city in the English Midlands. The Coventry Very Light Rail (CVLR) project is being led by Coventry City Council and Coventry University’s Research Centre for Future Transport and Cities. The aim is to create a rail-based, hop-on/hop-off mass transit system that can be built at less than half the cost and in half the time of conventional tram systems, while providing the same benefits.

This initiative invites college students worldwide to submit their innovative transportation solutions for a chance to present at the ITS World Congress in Atlanta from 24-28 August. Winners will receive a paid trip to the event, allowing them to engage with industry leaders and showcase their ideas on a global stage.
