A coffee shop that began in a tiny storage room at a Lancashire railway station has expanded to achieve an annual turnover of around £1.5m and sells some 25,000 sandwiches per year. The concept for the Le Feast coffee shop was born when Jason Cotillard's late husband, a ticket officer at Northern, mentioned that a small, disused station master's office at Poulton-le-Fylde station could be repurposed. This idea has since been replicated in other locations, including Bolton and Rochdale.
