Loudonville, N.Y. — There was lots on the line this afternoon at Hickey Field on the Siena College campus. Siena Men's Lacrosse hosted rival Marist in their MAAC regular season finale with playoff seeding up for grabs. The Saints, winners of six straight, could earn the number two seed with a win and a bye to the Semifinal round. There was a possibility for Siena to host the tournament but Sacred Heart beat Manhattan, so Sacred Heart will now host.

Albany, N.Y. — With the weather improving outside, a budding rivalry on the hardwood inside continued to heat up. The Albany Patroons and the New York Phoenix met up for the third time ever on Tuesday night, this one being the first matchup inside the Washington Avenue Armory. The Phoenix claimed round one, the Patroons got their revenge the second time around to set up bragging rights in the third of four total regular season matchups.

For the second straight year, the Albany Firebirds are once again letting the Capital Region know that sports are meant for everyone. With the help of a national non-profit organization called "Beautiful Lives Project", Firebirds coaches and players gave over 100 participants with various disabilities the opportunity to play a sport that they normally wouldn't have a chance to do so. It's what they call "Firebirds for a Day".

Troy, N.Y. — The search is over: RPI Men's Hockey has found their next head coach. School officials released a statement Tuesday afternoon naming Eric Lang to be the next leader of Engineers Hockey. Lang comes to Troy after serving as the head coach at American International College since 2016. Lang won 155 games at the helm of AIC and captured the Atlantic Hockey regular season championship or postseason title seven times in his nine seasons.
