    Latham, N.Y. — Two of the top Section II Boy's Lacrosse teams shared the turf on Tuesday night in a four-quarter battle. Niskayuna and Shaker, a potential Class A sectional title preview in a few weeks and this one lived up to the hype. No team from the Capital Region has really given 'Nisky a fight. The Silver Warriors undefeated in league play but Shaker brought the fight to them in the first half, Blue Bison went to the break up 5-2.

    Latham, N.Y. — It was a perfect day for some baseball on Tuesday afternoon as CBA and Shaker came together to honor the life and legacy of Casey O'Connor. The late CBA head coach and Shaker High School alum had his #14 jersey retired by the Blue Bison just two weeks after the Brothers dedicated their field in his honor. After the ceremony was held, CBA and Shaker squared off in the first annual Casey O'Connor Memorial Cup game and it certainly lived up to its name.
