FORT CAVAZOS, Texas (KWTX) - Troops at Fort Cavazos got a chance to work closely with some of our NATO allies over the past week. III Armored Corps has just wrapped up a multi-national training exercise that included other countries like Germany, France and the U.K., with the center of operations in Fort Cavazos. Months of planning and several smaller exercises brought American and NATO allies together for crucial training they call Warfighter.

FORT CAVAZOS, Texas (KWTX) - The Army will be celebrating its 250th this year and the festivities will include a military parade through the nation’s capital. For weeks, Fort Cavazos soldiers have been prepping and loading armored vehicles like tanks that left for D.C. by train the morning of June 2. “We have hundreds of soldiers trained and proficient in this task,” said Col. KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - John Valentine, a retired veteran and the owner of Phantom Warrior Brewing Company, has dedicated his life out of uniform to serving current and former service members like him. As a former combat medic who served in both Iraq and Afghanistan, he knows the cost of war all too well. “It really impacted my life,” said Valentine. “It changed my life, seeing all those soldiers that passed away in Afghanistan or Iraq and having to send them home in to their families in boxes.
