The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will be restocking local lakes with catfish beginning Friday, April 11.     West Texas is getting slammed with winter weather this weekend, with the Panhandle expected to receive up to four inches of snow by the end of Saturday night. A winter storm warning and winter weather advisory are in effect for parts of the far southern Texas Panhandle and northern South Plains through 1 a.m. on Sunday. The National Weather Service estimates snow accumulations up to four inches across the Caprock Escarpment and forecasts wind gusts up to 45 mph.
