Nashville and five other cities banded together to sue the Trump administration over federal transit and infrastructure funding they allege the administration has frozen illegally. "No president, much less a non-federal employee at a fictional agency, has the authority to freeze funds appropriated by Congress," Metro's law director said in a statement. Metro Nashville accuses the Trump administration of "reneging" on $14 million of transit and electric vehicle grants in a newly filed lawsuit.
