The name of TKO Group Holdings’ new boxing venture will be Zuffa Boxing, Dana White confirmed to SBJ, fulfilling a long-running ambition to have that be the title of his venture into the sport. When TKO, White and Saudi Arabian executive Turki Al-Sheikh announced in March that they were joining forces to start a relationship around boxing, they said the name of the property would be announced later.

NASCAR says ticket sales for this weekend’s events in Mexico City have gone well, and that security will be relatively normal, although videos have emerged of heavily armed troops protecting convoys of industry members. As it tries to grow its international clout, NASCAR this weekend will host its first premier series points race outside the U.S. since 1958 -- with an Xfinity Series race on Saturday, Cup Series race on Sunday and a pair of NASCAR Mexico Series races.

FanDuel has finalized a deal to become the official U.S. sports betting partner of the Professional Fighters League, with assets to include logos in and around the PFL Smartcage, rights to use PFL’s logo and marks in advertising and promotions, social/digital content, and providing betting odds during broadcasts. The arrangement will start today with the PFL World Tournament Semifinals at Nashville Municipal Auditorium.
