For the second time in the last three years, Andretti Global's Kyle Kirkwood will lead the field to green on the Streets of Long Beach. The next task for the No. 27 team is a second victory in the last three years. "We've done a small part of the job starting up front, but there's a much bigger part of the job tomorrow," Kirkwood said. "A lot of things need to fall the right direction for that to happen. The best start in Hoosier football history is continuing to get more recognition. Indiana was ranked eighth in the College Football Playoff's first poll of the 2024 season. This year's college football playoff is the first to feature 12 teams instead of four. Because of conference champions receiving a bye, if this week's poll was the determining factor for the final seeding, Indiana would visit Tennessee. First-year head coach Curt Cignetti has led Indiana to dominance all season long.
