The 27 full-time teams in the NTT IndyCar Series haven't had much rest this month. The first marathon stretch of their season continues this weekend with the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix. Andretti Global's Colton Herta gave his team a shot of much-needed morale by winning the pole for the Streets of Detroit on Saturday afternoon. "Happy to start P1 tomorrow - the best seat in the house. Now we just need a nice, easy race," Herta said.

An already enormous lead in the point standings just got bigger. Alex Palou's dominant start to 2025 continued with his fourth win of the year coming at the Sonsio Grand Prix on Saturday. "I owe everything to the team, Chip Ganassi Racing, my teammates, everybody who is working behind the scenes to make me look so fast on track," Palou said. "It's amazing. It's unbelievable."Once Palou made a move to pass Graham Rahal on Lap 58, the rest was history.

In the final minute of qualifying at Barber on Saturday, Alex Palou narrowly came away with pole position to start the Children's of Alabama Indy Grand Prix. Sunday's race was much less contested. Palou came away with his third win of 2025 on Sunday afternoon. He led by more than 16 seconds when the checkered flag flew. "I was a bit lonely there, but I loved it. It was an amazing day," Palou said. "The car was amazing, super fast.
