The point guard from Gonzaga College originally committed to Xavier, but decommitted after Xavier’s former head coach Sean Miller left to coach at Texas. The Washington native was the No. 13 recruit at his position and the No. 3 ranked prospect in his state.

Villanova has secured its third transfer portal acquisition on the same day. Grand Canyon transferwill play for the Wildcats next season, he announced Thursday. The 6-foot-10 forward averaged 10.4 points, 9.2 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game in his junior season for the Lopes. The Arizona native had remained in his home state throughout his college career, starting with Arizona State before transferring to Grand Canyon for the next two seasons.

BY ALEJANDRO LOPEZTexas A&M has secured its third transfer portal acquisition. Indiana transfer Mackenzie Mgbako will play for the Aggies next season, he announced Thursday. The 6-foot-9 forward averaged 12.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game for the Hoosiers in his sophomore season. The New Jersey native played both of his collegiate seasons at Indiana but will now move on to the SEC. Texas A&M will be under a new head coach this season.
