Federal investigators looking into the Mexican navy ship that crashed into the Brooklyn Bridge over the weekend are expected to provide an update Monday afternoon in New York City. Police responded to the home on 80th Street between Queens Midtown Expressway and 58th Avenue in Middle Village around 1 p.m. for a report of a man shot. When officers arrived, they found two people dead – a 57-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head and an 88-year-old woman.

Election Day turnout appeared heavy in Arizona on Tuesday as voters are casting ballots in a competitive Senate race. The state is also considered one of the most competitive battleground states in this year's presidential election. Election officials say it could take up to 13 days for the results to be tabulated in the state. In addition to a hefty turnout, voters must decide on numerous races. The ballot is two pages long in Maricopa, the state's most populous county.
