    The first-ever Nigeria Youth League Cup (NYLC) Super 8 will commence in Lagos from June 23 to 29. The U-19 championship will feature eight teams from across Nigeria at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos. The participating teams are Kano Pillars, Kwara United, Plateau United, Enyimba, Sunshine Stars, Atlantic Business FC, Shuffle Select and Malantarki Care FC. The winners of the competition take home N10 million, while the runners-up get N8 million.

    Ayao Mawouli, Togolese professional, has won the 3rd eTranzact Golf Classic, a Professional Golfers’ Development (PGD) Tour event, at Lakowe Lakes Golf Club, Lagos. Mawouli dethroned Francis Epe, who missed the half way cut at the championship after he shot 72, level par and 68, four under par to tower above the field of 88 players that competed for the title.

In a statement, the federation said the tournament, which would have Togo and Kenya participating, is designed to prepare D’Tigress for the 2025 FIBA Women’s AfroBasket championship, which is billed for July 24 to August 3 in Côte d’Ivoire.
