    Calling Katy Perry an astronaut is like calling me a veterinarian because I kicked a ball around with my dog, or calling me a catwalk model because I got dressed this morning. I think both sick animals and fashion brands would both shudder if they saw me coming with a scalpel and/or the will to strut, respectively.

    I’ve been living in the same apartment in north Dublin for over 20 years, and until recently with my late husband. In the last few months, I’ve begun to notice a group of youths that now seem to loiter around our block. They are rather rude and disruptive, banging on doors, leaving their rubbish everywhere and swearing and yelling. I’ve asked the neighbours and no one seems to know these young people or think that they are residents in our building.
