Studies1,2 performed outside the US show that vomiting, diarrhea, anorexia, and weight loss are among the top complaints in dogs presenting for veterinary evaluation. Gastrointestinal signs might refer to primary GI disease but could also occur secondary to extra-GI disease or pharmaceutical intervention.
