Bold stylingLots of space£234 a monthPeugeot went big on the latest 5008 - not just in terms of style (which it has in abundance), but gadgetry and size, too. This is the largest SUV the French firm makes. Thankfully, what isn’t big is the price. We found a deal from the AA on the Auto Express Find a Car service that’ll get you a Peugeot 5008 for just £234 a month. That’s typically the monthly price you’d pay for a supermini or base-level hatchback so for the roomy 5008 it certainly caught our eye.

We last saw the XC70 name on the back of a Volvo in 2016, but now the Swedish firm has given us a teaser of the badge’s return – on an SUV. The new Volvo XC70 is expected to be launched in the coming months, but initially at least it’ll be limited to the Chinese market. A Volvo spokesperson told Auto Express that "there are no current plans to sell the XC70 in the UK market”.

Started giving thumbs up to people driving interesting cars. Tonight’s recipient was someone in a Mitsubishi Eclipse (the convertible one from 2 Fast 2 Furious that no one liked). https://t.co/AAYwH6s436
