Thieves made off with whisky worth thousands of pounds during an early morning raid at a Perthshire distillery at the weekend. The break-in and theft occurred at the Glenturret Distillery near Crieff – which houses the two-Michelin starred Glenturret Lalique restaurant – around 4.45am on Saturday. Several expensive editions of Glenturret whisky in distinctive bottles made by luxury glassmaker Lalique were among those stolen.
