COVINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) – Everyone deserves a chance in the workforce to make an honest living, but that isn’t always the case for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The Point Arc of Northern Kentucky is a nonprofit organization that is making sure they get the same equal employment opportunities as everyone else. It provides many safe spaces around town that offer work for adults and allow them to unapologetically be themselves.

Some of the installations pay homage to icons and places around Cincinnati, including World Heavyweight Champion Boxer Ezzard Charles and Saturday Morning Vibes Cereal Bar.

ATLANTA, Ga. (WKRC) - A groundbreaking daytime drama is coming to CBS called Beyond the Gates, thanks to a joint venture between the network and the NAACP. It's being filmed at Assembly Studios in Doraville, GA. Inside are two stages that are 35,000 square feet, with 27 hand-built sets to star 35 characters and more to come. However, Beyond the Gates didn't come about until months later in the partnership between CBS and the NAACP.

Urban Native Collective is hosting its annual Indigenous Peoples Convergence Day all weekend with festivities beginning October 11.
