    SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (ValleyCentral) — One person is in custody after cutting two people with a saw on South Padre Island Friday afternoon, authorities say. Cameron County Park Rangers Chief Horacio Zamora confirmed that at 3:20 p.m. on County Beach Access 3, some subcontractors were conducting construction at the island. Four men were working at the construction site when one allegedly grabbed a circular construction saw and attacked another worker.

    MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — McAllen Police are searching for a missing teenager. According to police, Alia Lara, 15, left home voluntarily at 7:22 p.m. Thursday. Lara was last seen on the 2100 block of S 29th ½ St. in McAllen. The teen is described as being Hispanic with brown eyes and short black hair. She is 5’2″ and weighs about 90 pounds. Lara was last seen wearing a gray shirt, a dark colored ankle-length skirt, black Converse shoes, and carrying a backpack.
