    This popular Isle of Wight pub with new owners is promising to bring back family fun to Sandown. The Caulkheads, on Avenue Road, has been taken over by Lizzee and Reece Annis - who met at the pub 18 years ago. The couple vowed to look into buying the pub if it ever came up again, due to its sentimental value to them. Lizzee started working at the pub as a waitress when she was 17 and met Reece, who became the chef at the pub and eventually the manager. Scroll up and across for photos.

    There are higher than normal tides along the Island's coastline today. (Image: Paul Blackley) A flood warning has been issued by the Environment Agency on the Isle of Wight for tomorrow morning (Wednesday, April 16). The tide at 1.30am on Wednesday morning will be higher than normal due to unsettled weather with strong Southerly Force 5 winds and large waves. The tide table values is set to increase by 59cm, with the total forecast tide at Cowes due to be 4.7m.
