Radar photography taken by NASA scientists flying over Greenland revealed a completely abandoned “city” underneath the icy landscape. The “city” is said to be from the Cold War-era. First discovered in April of this year, the scientists and engineers got the imagery while flying above the northern part of the country in NASA’s Gulfstream III jet. The abandoned city itself was a military base built in the late 1950s, originally called Camp Century and built in 1959.
