SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A 22-year-old who died after a hit-and-run early Sunday morning in Sacramento was identified by his family as a sports-loving truck driver originally from Tulare, California. “Whoever did this really hurt us, and I would like them to come forward to make it right,” said Thomas Green, 51, Kaleb Green’s father. Who was Kaleb Green? Kaleb was the youngest of four kids, his father said.

Her two children, described as a toddler and a young kid, were securely fastened in the car at the time of the incident, police said. They were reportedly unharmed. Officers said the scene was very close to the front of a Bel Air in the area, and they plan to review potential video from the grocery store and other nearby businesses. Police called the incident a really unfortunate and tragic accident.

Luis Anguiano Calzado, 36, was found around 6 p.m. in a canal along the 3000 block of Moore Road after people walking along the bank saw what appeared to be a man underwater, according to the Ceres Police Department. Police said they helped medical personnel recover Calzado from the canal, and he was pronounced dead about 20 minutes later. He was reportedly found partially clothed and without identification.

CITRUS HEIGHTS, Calif. — A woman pedestrian died after she was run over by a vehicle last week in Citrus Heights. He was cooperative with law enforcement, and there were no signs of alcohol, other impairment or distracted driving, according to an officer. The crash is still being investigated, police said. Law enforcement ABC10 spoke with Tuesday said they did not know if Owen was homeless.

ARDEN-ARCADE, Calif. — Twin Peaks, a sports bar and restaurant in Arden-Arcade and the franchise’s only California location, announced its permanent closure Monday. Known for its made-from-scratch cuisine, ice-cold beer and spirits, and what the business calls “Twin Peaks Girls,” the restaurant operated at 535 Howe Ave. since July 2016.
