California State Parks’ letter to Hoover on Monday says the state department received a letter March 31 to protect waterways by April 15.

FOLSOM, Calif. — An app is making park pavilion rentals easier in Folsom, the city said Friday in a news release. Folsom worked with Rec Technologies Inc., a company LinkedIn shows was founded by two former Uber employees based in San Francisco, to launch the app that allows users to book pavilions, gazebos and courts. All of Folsom’s park pavilions are available first come, first use.
